Purpose: To manage the implementation of GMA Knowledge Management Policies and Strategies and development of the Knowledge Hub.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Knowledge Management/Information Management/Communication or equivalent. Honours degree will serve as an advantage. 5 years’ relevant experience in Knowledge Management or related with supervisory experience. Understanding of Document Management Systems as well as various Information Management Systems. Sound Technical knowledge of knowledge management in the public sector supported by the ability to contribute effectively in team- based setting, especially in the area of knowledge-sharing and learning.

Knowledge Management Strategy:

  • Conduct research to develop & update the Knowledge Management strategy and implementation plan.
  • Development of the Knowledge Management strategy implementation plan.
  • Assist in the development of the Knowledge Management Policies and Procedures.

Knowledge Hub (Intranet):

  • Development and facilitation of content for the Knowledge Hub.
  • Develop and maintain a content strategy for the Knowledge Hub.
  • Establish and maintain other Gautrain Management Agency repositories.
  • Develop concepts for a Knowledge Portal.
  • Assist in Project Wise process management, documentation and training.

Knowledge Tools:

  • Development and packaging of case studies, factsheets, and technical papers.
  • Development of interview scripts and content for Podcast.
  • Update and maintenance of content on the GMA Podcast station.
  • Document project best practice, lessons learnt in collaboration with the business units.
  •  Implement the knowledge mapping project for the Gautrain Management Agency 

Knowledge Dissemination Platforms:

  • Coordinate partnerships with academic institutions and other stakeholders for knowledge management.
  • Establish and facilitate Gautrain Management Agency knowledge share platforms.
  • Coordinate knowledge exchange events such as seminars, workshops etc.
  • Assist in the development of the Gautrain Management Agency Library.
