FAQ
Q. How and where do I apply?
A. The GMA only accepts applications for vacancies that are currently advertised and posted on www.gma.gautrain.co.za or LinkedIn. External applicants are required to apply via the GMA LinkedIn vacancy link or e-mail their CV to the e-mail address provided in the advertisement.
Q. What is the interview process like?
A. The GMA conducts competency-based interviews by a panel of not less than three members. Applicants are afforded enough time to engage panel members on their skills, competencies and experience.
Q. How long does it take to receive feedback on one’s application?
A. If you have not received any response within 30 days after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
Q. How long does it take after an interview to find out if you move to the next step?
A. It normally takes 14 working days, but sometimes longer if the applicants’ risk assessments cannot be confirmed in a timely manner.
Q. Can I apply by e-mail to any HR official?
A. No. Applications for vacancies will not be accepted via individual e-mail – only the email address listed on the advertisement is acceptable.
Q. Who can I contact to check the status of my application, once have been interviewed?
A. Refrain from contacting individual/s via e-mail or phone regarding the status of your applications.
Q. Can I apply for more than one job?
A. Yes, but job applications must be submitted individually, stating the relevant reference number and the title of the vacancy.
