Issued Tenders

The GMA aims to conducts its business in a manner that is fair, equitable, transparent, competitive and cost effective as underpinned by Section 217 of Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, and it core values. Without limiting its rights at law or otherwise, the GMA reserves the right, in its absolute discretion at any time, to:

a.  Cease to proceed with, or suspend aTendering Process prior to the execution of a formal written contract;

b.  alter the structure and/or the timing of a Request For Proposal (RFP) or a Tendering Process;

c.  vary or extend any time or date specified in an RFP for all or any Bidder or other persons;

d.  terminate the participation of any Bidder or any other person in a Tendering Process;

e.  require additional information or clarification from any Bidder or any other person or provide additional information or clarification;

f.   call for new Tenders;

g.  reject any Tender received after the Closing Time;

h.  reject any Tender that does not comply with the requirements of an RFP; or consider and accept    or reject any alternative tender.


Request for Quotations

Request for Quotation (RFQ) refers to all procurement where the value of required goods or services is estimated to be up to R500 000 (all costs inclusive). A minimum of three (3) suppliers registered on National Treasury Centralised Supplier Database (CSD) are invited to submit written quotations for this procurement.


Request for Proposals

Request for Proposal (RFP) refers to all procurement where the value of required goods or services is estimated to exceed R500 000 (all costs inclusive). Suppliers are invited to submit proposals through an open competitive process by advertising in at least the Government Tender Bulletin, National Treasury e-Tender Publication Portal and GMA Website and CIDB Register of Tenders (for construction related works).
