After completion of the public participation process, the MEC will consider the draft preliminary design report, the environmental report, as well as all written comments received and may thereafter accept the preliminary design for implementation.
The accepted preliminary design will be published in the Provincial Gazette by reference to a plan that indicates the accepted preliminary design, a notification of the applicable regulatory measures that come into play, and a notification that reasons for the decision by the MEC may be requested by interested and affected parties.
