The procurement process for Phase 1 of the proposed GRRIN extensions comprises three major stages. Subject to the PPP approval processes, and public procurement prescripts as prescribed in the PFMA and related legislation; the stages of procurement will be as follows:

• Appointment of Procurement Transaction Advisors
• Appointment of EPC civils contractors
• Appointment of Operator PPP

All project procurement documentation will be made available on the GMA’s website, as well as public procurement platforms as prescribed by National Treasury.
